Welcome New Attendees!
It was great to see so many
new faces – WELCOME!
The PTO supports UMS in many
ways, field trip bussing, supplies, Artist in Residence program, community
building events, Teach appreciation and more!
Fundraising helps support
these events. Any participation is
greatly appreciated.
Beltrami Fall Family Photo Fundraiser
Flyers are out and deadline
for EARLY discount is 6/15. So far 11 reservations.
1st check given to April for our share.
Send another email out this
week; then share with other schools/friends-family/etc. .
PTO gets 100% of session fees
and 20% of all photo sales.
Fall Fundraiser
Catalog orders / big
fundraiser for PTO. Contract Signed,
need help at delivery sorting –NOV.
Delivery is week of Parent Teacher Conferences week of Thanksgiving.
Need Volunteer to take over
for 2019 year; could shadow Toni this year.
Welcome BBQ
Brady is taking over; Date is
9/12/18 5:30p at Bayside Park. All
family members welcome; sign up goes out 1st week of school. (Rain location is CHS).
Need volunteers for setup/take
down and grilling; Sign up Genious goes
out once school starts to sign up.
BTFE (Box Tops)
We need a volunteer(s) to
take over the Box Tops project.
Box tops are sent in to teachers randomly all year; we need to
collect and submit for credit.
Thank you Rajee and Liz for
volunteering! We will get you setup for
online access and give you an overview.
2018-2019 Meeting Schedule
Brady inquired about moving
meeting to 6p-7p. After discussion of
630p start with other event consistency and the difficulty of making 6p for
those who work it was agreed to keep future meetings 630p-730p.
Election of Offices
Current open position is
PRESIDENT.
Vice President – Brady Lozier;
Secretary – Sue Cramer; Treasurer – April O’Dell.
Nominated Kate Youlen to be
President or Co-President with Brady; she asked for time to consider.
Treasurer Report
Treasurer report was
presented for FY18 and budget for FY19.
Ending cash balance as of
6/30/18 is approximately $3907.00
With estimated fundraising
and expenses for next year target balance at end of FY19 is 2500.00
New Business
Order TSHIRTS for
Kindergarten kids only; Marla to inquire about cheaper vendor or negotiate
deals.
Mr T retiring – would like to
give a gift. Per Mr Gordy he loves
music/going out to eat. Decided to get a
$25 gift card for Itunes and Windjammer, with a card from the PTO.
Mr Gordy is retiring – dates TBA;
Chris to keep us posted so we can provide a retirement gift.
New PE Teacher hired – Mr Wilks.
Add Pizza Night / Spare Time
night to next year’s calendar for alternate fundraising options.
Teacher Appreciation Feedback

to share feedback from teacher appreciation this year.
Great Success – loved the
flowers and notes. Loved the
theme/agenda – share agenda prior next year.
Teachers felt gift
cards/drawing not needed due to cost ~ those were donations from community;
Kathy to share.
Wish Lists ? Some teachers shared; others didn’t. Parents enjoyed participating/proiding
